YabbleBabble has reached an agreement with an undisclosed buyer to cease operations and transfer all working technologies to the buyer on August 9, 2007. Under the agreement, Todd H. Sullivan will retain all rights related to the YabbleBabble name, domain name, and website design. The YabbleBabble website will remain in its current state for the purposes of forwarding visitors to each artist's new selling venues and as part of Todd H. Sullivan's research projects, resume, and multimedia portfolio.
Visitors will still be able to browse through the product catalog, but the shopping cart and ordering functionality will be turned off. Instead, visitors will have the option to go to each artist's new selling venues and purchase products through the artist's own e-commerce services. YabbleBabble will no longer provide any of these e-commerce services to sellers or support customer orders that originate from browsing YabbleBabble.com.
